CoSy Festival
3D projection mapping transforms a historic castle into a living canvas for the “Contrast and Symbiosis” festival. Twenty AI-generated animation loops weave heritage stone with contemporary psychedelia — precise, trippy visuals, turning ancient walls into a hypnotic dialogue between past and future.
CHALLENGE
The festival's centerpiece was a historic castle requiring continuous 3D mapping for three consecutive nights. With only four days remaining before the event, the critical constraint was producing a massive volume of unique, high-quality content to fill this extended timeframe without repetition.
SOLUTION
To solve the time-crunch, I developed a custom generative algorithm aligned with the festival's theme, "Contrast in Symbiosis." Instead of manually animating every frame, the system utilized AI-driven metamorphosis to blend references and prompts. This automated pipeline generated a stream of evolving visuals that merged architectural precision with fluid, organic transformations.
RESULT
The project became the visual anchor of the festival. The mesmerizing, non-repetitive flow of imagery captivated the audience, with guests spending hours watching the projection. It successfully turned a production crisis into an immersive artistic highlight that received overwhelming positive feedback.
